FARCO sterile lubricants – for gentle and painless insertion of catheters and medical devices.
FARCO’s sterile lubricants are suitable for almost all applications in the urological field and related specialities.
The FARCO pre-filled sterile syringe was specially developed for atraumatic use in the urethra. After application, the sterile gel completely lines the urethra, causing it to gently expand. This makes it possible to insert medical devices such as catheters, endoscopes, probes, tubes, etc. gently and painlessly. Injuries to the sensitive mucous membrane and resulting urethral strictures are thus largely avoided.
FARCO pre-filled syringes enable the full amount of gel to be delivered quickly, easily and atraumatically thanks to the rounded syringe cone.
Developed more than 60 years ago for specialized urological use, FARCO’s lubricants have always been produced in Germany to the highest pharmaceutical purity and quality standards.
Sterile production
Our products are manufactured in sterile production (steam sterilization) and come in the form of sterile pre-filled syringes with ergonomically adapted cones. This makes handling uncomplicated and convenient for users, while at the same time reducing the risk of injury and infection.
