Instillagel® is a sterile lubricant with a local anesthetic and disinfectant effect that has been tried and tested for decades. It is suitable for almost all urethral applications and in related specialist areas and impresses with its proven effectiveness. When inserted into the urethra, this gently expands, which enables medical devices to be inserted gently and painlessly. Thanks to the local anesthetic it contains, patients experience pain-free and relaxed examinations and procedures. In addition, the clinically proven antiseptic effect of Instillagel® eliminates existing germs and reduces the risk of infection.

Instillagel® is instilled in the specially developed FARCO ready-to-use sterile syringe. Besides being quick and easy to use, the FARCO syringe enables steady, complete and atraumatic instillation of the gel.

Active ingredients
Lidocaine hydrochloride 1 H2O,
Chlorhexidine bis(D-gluconate),
Methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate,
Propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate.
Patient age*
For use in adults and children from 2 years of age.
As a rule, the maximum dose for children aged between 2 and 12 years of 2.9 mg lidocaine hydrochloride per kg body weight should not be exceeded. This corresponds to 1.5 ml Instillagel 6 ml/11 ml per 10 kg body weight.
Billing
Instillagel® is a pharmacy-only, non-prescription medicine that can be prescribed and reimbursed as a lubricant gel for catheterization.
